Wedding Photo Booth

We set up a little photo booth at Amanda and Robert’s Wedding in the lobby of the Public.  Some of these pictures are so fun to click through!  Here are a few of the highlights.

Happy Father’s Day Batman Style

If Father’s Day is about bringing joy and happiness, than every day is Father’s Day for me with this little guy around.  Milo made my first official Father’s Day a great one (and allowing us to dress him up in a batman suit is icing on the cake.)

Happy Father’s Day to my dad and all the other dad’s out there!

Middle Collegiate Church, New York City Wedding

I’ve known Robert for a number of years now.  I got to know him through my wife, Ashley, who has known him since they were fifteen year old high school students in Florida  We also lived 4 blocks from him in Astoria, Queens and in NYC, location is everything. Because of our proximity, we’ve been able to spend a lot of time together over the years.  Robert is one of those people who has such a big heart that I’ll never be able to find enough ways to pay him back for all the kindness he’s shown us. He’s such a great guy and we were so excited when he announced  that he had found someone he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.  He found a great girl named Amanda, who saw all the great things in Robert that we did and we couldn’t be happier for them. I was completely thrilled when they asked me if I would photograph their wedding; I’d do anything for this guy.

And do Amanda and Robert know how to throw a party!  They got married at the beautiful Middle Collegiate Church in New York City’s Lower East Side where both Robert and Amanda sing in the choir.  After their friends and family gave them a tossed lavender sendoff (which made the streets of the Lower East Side smell amazing by the way) we got some great city shots on our walk to the reception at Joe’s Pub at the Public.  They had the band The Hot Sardines play backup as they sang their “first song” together.  Some couples have a first dance, these two sang a duet to each other that brought the house to tears.

Congratulations again Amanda and Robert!  We are so happy for the two of you.  Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together.

Despite having recently moved slightly farther away than those 4 blocks, we feel just as close to you guys as ever!
