The old farm

When we went home for Thanksgiving Ashley and I took a trip to see my grandparent’s old farm outside of Lyman, NE. It’s been years since I’d been back out there. The weather was very cold and windy and it was a little sad to see that many people have moved away from that sleepy little town. At least two things were the same as they’ve always been: plenty of sky and a 360 degree horizon.

Ryan! I loved the head shots, so whimsical! and the NE pics brought back memories, its been a while since Ive been back as well, I believe March 2002 for my grandmother’s funeral. I love what you have done with your love for photography, it makes my heart warm, but of course I wish I were out there doing photo shoots with you, that would be a blast:)
