A little bit about me: in list form

I was born in Nebraska and yes we had indoor plumbing
I’ve lived in Colorado, Iowa, Chicago, Ohio, Cape Cod, Manhattan, & Queens
I am both a city boy and a nature boy
I recently married the love of my life
We got married in a barn…no really!
If I’m on the computer I probably have my dog, Ruby, in my lap
I have a strong theatre design background and love all things visual
I have a rusty old bike from 1976 and riding it makes me happy

That’s me in 8 lines or less.  Photography has been a great way for me to meet some truly amazing people. I have a lot of fun with what I do and with the people I meet. Everyone has a different story to tell which makes every day an adventure.

It's my goal to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible and to make their time, be it a wedding day, headshots, or a theatrical event, as stress free as I can...and capture beautiful pictures along the way.

I carry both equipment and liability insurance and am a proud member of Professional Photographers of America and Pictage.

Production of Red Over Red

If you ask me to tell you what I know of Romania, it isn’t much.  But what little I do know comes from being a long time friend of Andreea Mincic, a New York Scenic Designer from Romania who I had the pleasure of meeting back in grad school.  Andreea is a great friend and...

Happy Fourth of July

I don’t know about you, but Ashley and I have an ongoing “New Yorker’s Bucket List” of sorts.  There are certain things we feel every New Yorker must experience while living here, and watching the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Display is definitely one of them.  Sure, the lines are long, the view of the...

Those of you following my blogs know that Adrienne has been a fabulous wedding photo assistant of mine on numerous occasions.  We met a while ago through our work in the theater and, despite the fact that she knows all my little goofy ways to get people to smile in front of the camera, she...

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

I’ve been away from blogging for a little while.  But I’m back with some shots of our honeymoon from Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.  Ashley and I went back and forth discussing honeymoon possibilities from traveling around Europe to taking a cruise out of Manhattan.  Eventually we realized all we really wanted in a honeymoon was...
